Salary-allowance discount for teachers and staff

The salaries and allowances of the teachers and employees of the MPO registered private educational institutions for the month of March have been waived. The money was deposited in the designated bank through eight checks on Thursday.

It is said that eight checks of the government part of the salary and allowance of the teachers and employees of the private educational institutions (schools and colleges) of the country under Mausi have been deposited in the bank. Among them, the head offices of Agrani and Rupali Bank and the local offices of Janata and Sonali Bank have been handed over. The teachers and staff have been asked to collect the government part of the salary and allowance from the concerned branch bank by April 13.

Meanwhile, the MPO-registered schools and colleges have been given a waiver of March salaries and allowances but the checks of teachers and staff of technical and madrasa educational institutions are still stuck. However, the money may be released early next week, the source said.
