The campus is returning to normal activities from Tuesday

After two years, the country's educational institutions are returning to their previous form. For a long time, due to the Co-rona epidemic, there were limited class activities in educational institutions. However, from Tuesday (March 15), the government has announced the start of 100% classes and examinations in all types of institutions as usual.

All schools, colleges, madrasas, and universities in the country were declared closed from March 17, 2020, after the co-ronavirus infection. After that, all the educational activities continue online. But the students and parents are out of breath as the school-college has been closed for a long time. After that, there were demands to open schools and colleges at different times.

Considering the situation, a limited number of educational institutions were opened on September 12 last year. But due to the increase in co-rona infection, the educational institution was declared closed again on January 21 in the second phase. As the situation improved, one month later, on 22 February, direct classes were started only in secondary schools, colleges, madrasas, and universities. Then on March 2, limited level primary level teaching started.

Speaking at a school function in the capital last Saturday (March 12), the education minister said classroom teaching in all subjects at secondary and higher secondary level educational institutions would start from March 15.

The education minister said the number of examinations would be reduced if the new curriculum was introduced. Students' fear of exams will go away. Daily reading will be evaluated daily.

On the other hand, last week, the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education decided on the activities of primary and pre-primary level classes. In this regard, the secretary of the ministry Aminul Islam Khan said, the class is going on in full swing at the primary level. Students go to school 6 days a week. Pre-primary students have been given time to physically open classes to monitor the situation. Now the door of educational institutions will be opened for them too. From March 15, their physical classes will be taken.

Education ministry officials say the main hurdle in starting classes in full force was to bring all students between the ages of 12 and 17 under the two-dose vaccine. At first, there were one crore 29 lakh students in this club all over the country. Later 1 million more students were added there. It also aimed to reduce the infection rate to less than two percent. Last Sunday (March 13), the co-rona identification rate among the suspects in the country was 1.6 percent. In the last few days, the situation in Co-rona seems to be under control.

According to the Department of Secondary and Higher Education (Maushi), there is one crore 39 lakh 63 thousand 95 students in the age group of 12 to 17 years. According to the data of March 9, it has been possible to bring one crore 10 lakh 69 thousand 50 of them under the second dose. And the first dose has been given to one crore 36 lakh 20 thousand 803 people. In other words, about 98 percent of the students got the first dose and 80 percent got the second dose. However, this number has increased in the last five days.

In this context, the Director-General of Mausi Professor Nehal Ahmed said, there should be a time difference between the second dose and the first dose. Not everyone is going to be vaccinated quickly. However, those who are getting vaccinated will take regular classes. Besides, online and distance learning system is also being introduced.

Meanwhile, this time the holiday of Ramadan has been reduced. In other years, the school was closed from the first fast. But this year the educational activities will continue till 20 days of fasting.
